Using the blog editor and blog module within the Site Builder

Common problems

Blog posts are not showing up on my site

Make sure post is "published"

Check to make sure the checkbox for "published" is checked within the blog editor.

Check the date

Check the published date for your blog posts, if you have a date set in the future it will not show on your site until that date is in the past.

Blog post page is not loading when clicked

If you attempt to click on a post, but the URL does not take you to a blog post page. In this case the common cause is that the special "Blog" page type was deleted or a normal page was added named "Blog" without selecting the "Blog" page type from the dropdown.

In this case, you will need to delete the current Blog page and re-add the page making sure to select "Blog" from the page type dropdown.
